What to put on the quote
- Services per person and estimated time.
- Trial session and start time on the day.
- Travel, early-start surcharge and products.
- Deposit, cancellation and patch test for colour.
Common mistakes
- Quoting colour correction as a fixed price without a consultation.
- No early-morning surcharge.
- Holding a wedding date without a deposit.
Deposit, balance and validity
25–50% deposit to book, balance on the day. Cancellations within 14 days forfeit the deposit. Colour prices are estimates until the consultation.

Is the trial included?
List it as a line; some salons credit it if booked.
Why is colour correction an estimate?
Time depends on the hair’s history. Say the final price is confirmed at consultation.
Early start fee?
Add a surcharge for start times before a set hour.
