What to put on the quote
- Script length, language, tone and number of versions.
- Usage: platform, territory, duration, paid ads or organic.
- Studio, directed session or self-recorded.
- Pickups included and delivery format.
Common mistakes
- Charging per minute of audio only, ignoring usage.
- Unlimited re-records because the script changed.
- No clause for usage renewal.
Deposit, balance and validity
Payment on delivery for small jobs; agencies often pay 30 days after invoice. Quote valid for 14 days. Script changes after recording are charged as a new session.
