Air Conditioning Installation Estimate Template
AC installs look simple until the pipe run is longer than standard or a bracket is needed on the third floor. Price the standard install, then list extras per metre or per item so nothing is a surprise on the day.
No sign-up. Totals, tax and deposit are worked out for you; print it or save it as a PDF.

What to put on the quote
- Model, capacity and energy rating of the unit.
- What the standard install includes (pipe length, drain, wiring).
- Electrical work: dedicated circuit, breaker, licensed electrician.
- Warranty on parts and on installation.
Common mistakes
- Quoting "installation included" without the pipe length limit.
- Not checking that the circuit can carry the load.
- Forgetting removal of the old unit and refrigerant recovery.
Deposit, balance and validity
Payment on completion is common for single units; projects take a deposit when units are ordered. Estimates valid 14–30 days, as unit prices change with the season.
Questions people ask
What is a standard installation?
Define it on the estimate: pipe length, wall penetration, drain and connection. Anything beyond is priced per metre or item.
Do I need a new circuit?
Larger units often need a dedicated circuit; list it as its own line.
Who handles warranty?
Separate the manufacturer warranty on the unit from your warranty on the installation.
