Web Design Quote Template
Website projects grow page by page. Fix the sitemap and the number of templates on the quote, say who writes the content, and separate the build from ongoing hosting and care.
No sign-up. Totals, tax and deposit are worked out for you; print it or save it as a PDF.
Example line items
| Item | Unit | Qty | Example price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discovery and sitemap | job | 1 | 300–1,200 |
| Page design (unique templates) | template | 5 | 300–900 each |

| Basic SEO setup and analytics | job | 1 | 200–600 |

Amounts are examples before tax, not price advice. Add sales tax or VAT where it applies.
What to put on the quote
- Sitemap and the number of unique page templates.
- Who provides copy and images, and content entry limits.
- Browsers and devices supported, accessibility basics.
- Domain, hosting, email and the monthly care plan.
Common mistakes
- No fixed page list, so "just one more page" never ends.
- Waiting weeks for client content with no deadline in the quote.
- Bundling hosting into the build price with no renewal terms.
Deposit, balance and validity
40% to start, 40% on design approval, 20% at launch is common. Quote valid for 30 days. Content not received by the agreed date moves the launch date, not the price.
