Junk Removal Quote Template

Junk removal is priced by how much of the truck a pile fills, so the quote names the truck size and what half a load actually looks like. Most prices start from photos, which makes the on-site rule as important as the number: what happens when the pile is bigger, or the customer adds a few things.

What to put on the quote

  • Truck size in cubic yards and the load fractions you price (quarter, half, full).
  • Whether the price covers labor, loading, disposal and a sweep-up.
  • Items you refuse or price separately: paint, chemicals, tires, hazardous waste.
  • Access: where the pile is, stairs, carry distance and parking.
  • How the final price is set on site before loading, and how added items are priced.

Common mistakes

  • Charging a light-load price for a pile that hides concrete or wet dirt.
  • Loading first and agreeing the price after, then arguing about how full the truck is.
  • Taking a fridge or AC unit without charging for refrigerant recovery.

Deposit, balance and validity

No deposit: the price is confirmed on site before loading and paid when the truck is loaded. If the pile is larger than the photos showed, the new load size is agreed before work starts, and items added on the day are priced per item. Quote valid for 14 days.

Questions people ask

Can I get a price from photos?

Yes, as a range. The exact load size is confirmed on site before anything goes on the truck, and you can say no at that point.

Do I have to bring everything outside first?

No. Loading from the basement, attic or garage is included; long carries and extra flights of stairs are priced on the quote.

Where does my stuff end up?

Usable items go to donation where possible, metal and electronics to recycling, and the rest to a licensed transfer station.

Why is concrete charged extra?

It fills little of the truck but reaches the weight limit and the dump fee fast, so heavy material is priced by volume.
