What to put on the quote
- Target pages and keywords agreed in writing, and which parts of the site are out of scope.
- Monthly deliverables as numbers: pages fixed, articles, hours.
- Who puts the changes live on the site, and how soon the client grants access.
- Who writes, who reviews articles for accuracy and who owns them.
- Reports: which metrics, which tools and how often you meet.
Common mistakes
- Promising page one, then losing the client and your name when an algorithm update lands.
- A monthly fee with no countable deliverables, so the client cannot see what they paid for.
- Recommending fixes the client never applies, then being judged on traffic that did not move.
- Buying cheap links that get the site penalized.
Deposit, balance and validity
Audit and keyword research are 50% upfront and the rest on delivery; monthly work is billed in advance with a six-month minimum and 30 days notice after that. Rankings and traffic depend on search engines and are not guaranteed. Quote valid for 30 days.

How long before we see results?
Usually several months, depending on the site and the competition. The monthly report shows the work done and the early signals.
Do you need access to our website?
Yes, or a developer who applies the fixes within an agreed time. Changes that sit unapplied cannot help.
Is writing articles part of SEO?
Often the largest part. Articles are priced per piece by length, and the quote says who supplies expert input and approves them.
