Air Conditioner Cleaning Quote Template

Ductless mini-splits are where AC cleaning earns its price: the blower wheel and coil clog with mold, and rinsing the filter does nothing about it. Price each indoor head by type and list the condenser and drain line separately, so the customer sees why a ceiling cassette costs more than a wall unit.

What to put on the quote

  • Unit count by type (wall, ceiling cassette, ducted, floor) and brand, so self-cleaning or hard-to-open models are priced right.
  • What the clean covers: panels off, coil and blower wheel washed, drain pan and line, filters, and whether the outdoor unit is in.
  • Access: mounting height, units above stairs or heavy furniture, and where the van can park.
  • Condition noted before work: existing noise, leaks, error codes or broken louvers, so they are not blamed on the clean.
  • Time per unit and when each unit can be switched back on.

Common mistakes

  • One flat price per unit, then a ceiling cassette takes three times as long as a wall head.
  • Not photographing a cracked casing or an error code before starting, and ending up paying for an old fault.
  • Skipping the drain line, so the unit drips a week later and the cleaning gets the blame.

Deposit, balance and validity

Payment on completion by card or transfer; property managers and offices can be invoiced net 15. Bookings of 10 or more units take a 20% deposit to book. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are charged the trip fee. Quote valid for 30 days.

Questions people ask

How often should a mini-split be deep cleaned?

Once a year for most homes, every six months if it runs daily, you have pets or it smells musty at start-up.

Do you take the unit off the wall?

No. Covers and parts come off and the coil and blower are washed in place, with a bib that catches the water.

How long will it take?

About 1–1.5 hours per wall unit and 2 hours for a ceiling cassette, so a three-unit home is usually half a day.
